What QuickCard AI Is
QuickCard AI is an English-learning app that helps you improve vocabulary, reading, listening, and speaking skills through AI flashcards, audiobooks, an AI chat tutor, quizzes, pronunciation practice, and video-based lessons.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and display name. This is used to create and manage your account. We do not access your Google or Apple password.
Learning Data
We store your flashcard decks, quiz results, study progress, daily streaks, vocabulary history, pronunciation assessment scores, and English level setting in our database to personalize your learning experience.
User-Generated Content
Text you type in the AI chat, words or phrases you submit for flashcard creation, and messages you send during lessons are collected to provide AI-powered responses and content.
Microphone Audio
When you use pronunciation practice or voice-based features, your device microphone captures audio. This audio is processed to provide speaking feedback and is not permanently stored on our servers.
Photo Library
If you choose to add an image to a flashcard, we access your photo library with your permission. Images are uploaded and stored with your flashcard data.

Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
We use the following third-party services to operate QuickCard AI. Each service only receives the minimum data necessary to function.
OpenAI & Google Gemini
AI-Powered Learning Features
When you use the AI chat, flashcard generation, quizzes, translations, placement tests, or speaking feedback, the text you type and your English level are sent to our backend server, which forwards them to OpenAI or Google Gemini for processing.
Sent: Your typed text (messages, words, phrases) and English level setting
Not sent: Your name, email, account info, or any personal identifiers
Your input is processed solely to generate educational content. It is not used to train AI models and is not stored beyond the duration of the request.
ElevenLabs
Text-to-Speech Audio
We use ElevenLabs to generate natural-sounding audio for flashcards and learning content.
Sent: Text content for audio generation (words, phrases, sentences)
Not sent: Your personal information
Google Firebase
Authentication & Database
Firebase handles user sign-in (Google and Apple authentication) and stores your learning data (flashcards, progress, quiz results, vocabulary) in Cloud Firestore.
Sent: Email address, learning data, and app usage data
RevenueCat
Subscription Management
RevenueCat manages in-app purchases and subscription status. It receives anonymous app user identifiers to track your subscription.
Sent: Anonymous user identifier and purchase transaction data
Not sent: Your email, name, or learning content
YouTube
Video Streaming
Educational videos are streamed using the official YouTube embedded player. No videos are downloaded or stored. The 'Add to Library' feature only saves a video ID as a bookmark.
Sent: Standard YouTube embed data (viewing activity subject to YouTube's terms)
Not sent: No video content is downloaded, stored, or cached by our app
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
Data Storage & Security
Your account and learning data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). App preferences and settings are stored locally on your device. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your Rights

- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

Children's Privacy
QuickCard AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will promptly delete that data.
